TJ and Brian were actually married earlier in the year prior to this celebration at Apple Barn Farm. This event was held for their friends and family who could not make the trek to their destination wedding location. TJ and Brian arrived (in their wedding attire for the second time!) completely calm, collected, and ready to have a good time! We were able to extensively walk the large grounds of Apple Barn Farm and find some amazing new locations to shoot in (I have photographed lots of weddings there and with any venue I shoot at often, it’s always nice to create original images). It was really great to have extra time to really explore and make great photographs. I often tell my clients that I am really talented at getting loads of great pictures in a relatively short amount of time. It’s truly a great skill to have as a photographer. But, it’s also extremely refreshing to have a more laid back kind of day without the stress of getting the bride and groom back to their cocktail hour or ceremony on time. When you are planning your wedding, it’s good idea to discuss with your photographer their recommendations for when to take pictures, and how long it should take. If photography is the most important thing for you, it may be a good idea to schedule a good amount of time for it.
Congratulations TJ & Brian!
