I loved going down to NYC for Angel and Dan’s engagement session over the summer. It was really great to check out a part of Queens I had never been before, see some amazing street art, take some photos, and most importantly, get to know Angel and Dan a bit better. They are such a cool couple and after discussing their wedding a bit more (over tacos no less) I was probably as excited for it as they were! I also really love weddings at Apple Barn Farm. In my opinion it is one of the absolute best places in the Hudson Valley to tie the knot. Marybeth, the woman who owns and operates Apple Barn Farm, is an amazingly dedicated person and is always there ensuring everything goes as smoothly as possible.
Angel and Dan’s wedding day was super special. I loved how they helped each other get ready, their non-traditional schedule of events (their cocktail hour was before their ceremony… which worked out really well!), and how they made enough time for both photos and hanging out with their friends and family. I think my favorite part though might have been the ceremony. It was very personalized and very sweet. The ceremony site was set up in a circle which was a first for me. It was a really nice touch (for both the guests and for the pictures!). It was an honor to be a part of!
