Cori and Abeyson: Central Park NYC Engagement Session

This engagement shoot was my first time meeting Cori and Abeyson face to face. During their initial wedding planning process our schedules didn’t match up at all and unfortunately we had to settle for a Skype meeting. I was really excited for their wedding after that initial Skype conversation, though, and got even more excited after meeting them in person! Although it was a very hot day in NYC, we still had loads of fun during the engagement shoot. I always try to put my clients at ease by talking with them before I start taking pictures – I crack jokes, ask about their interests, etc. After those first few minutes of chatting, Cori and Abeyson and I were already so comfortable with each other that amazing pictures just kept coming one after the other! This is one of the main reasons why I love doing engagement sessions; when the photographer and the couple know each other and are comfortable with each other, the pictures are leaps and bounds better than they would be otherwise. And naturally, this carries over to their wedding photos.

  • Robert Austin Fitch PhotographyYou captured the obvious love between this couple as well as the interest of Central Park… beautiful photographs! And that bubble at the end! The colors in it go perfectly with the couples outfits, very cool! Cheers, Rob.

Welcome

What I love about wedding and portrait photography is that I am able to create portraits that hold immense personal meaning which will last longer than we will.
