I had a really great time working with Jacqueline. I wanted to start the shoot using a hazelnut backdrop that I bought a long time ago but rarely use. I don’t actually know why I hardly use it, I really love it! It has a very simple, clean look that I think brings more emphasis to the subject. For this backdrop I wanted the outfits to be more muted and natural colors. Jacqueline brought a lot of wardrobe choices so we had plenty to pick from to help make the shoot more successful. The shot on the blue background is more of a modern pin-up style and I love how her wardrobe contrasts with the background. I think it makes it more eye catching. Hopefully I will be able to convince her to come for another shoot in the Spring.
