Jessica and Kyle’s Wedding: Rip Van Winkle Country Club, September 24, 2011

Jessica and Kyle contacted me last year about the possibility of photographing their wedding. Jessica is good friends with my first ever wedding clients (Nicole and Brendan) and Nicole had been talking me up! I love getting new clients from personal referrals (not to mention from my very first clients ever). It’s the ultimate compliment.

Jessica, Kyle, and I had a great time during their engagement session at the Saugerties Lighthouse and from what they were telling me about their wedding plans, I was very excited to shoot their wedding as well and capture the details of their special day. Their ceremony was held at All Souls Church in Tannersville (a beautiful and picturesque setting if ever there was one), and their reception was at Rip Van Winkle Country Club in Palenville. The skies were overcast but fortunately the rain held off and everyone had a wonderful time. Jessica and Kyle also decided to have me set up a photo booth at their reception, which provided their guests with an awesome time and loads of laughs. Check out those pics here!

  • PegWhat a beautiful set of photos!! I am so glad the weather held out because the mountain and autumnal scenery make such a stunning backdrop. The lantern lighting at the end of the night looks magical too!

  • peter26Your welcome Jess! I had such a great time with you, Kyle, and your family and friends! It was an awesome day!

What I love about wedding and portrait photography is that I am able to create portraits that hold immense personal meaning which will last longer than we will.
