Sara and Aaron’s Wedding: The Photo Booth

I was so happy that Sara and Aaron inquired about having a photo booth at their wedding. It’s a new trend in wedding photography and I think it’s a spectacular idea. Basically, I set up a mini studio at the reception with a backdrop, professional lighting, a camera on a tripod, and props. There was an assistant manning the booth to guide people (and ensure everything was working correctly) but the guests were given a remote for the camera and were asked to take the pictures themselves. They could take as many pictures (silly, serious, formal, or crazy) of themselves as they wanted. The guests had a ridiculous amount of fun (and so did I).

If you would like to have a photo booth at your reception please contact me for more information.

The pics posted below are among my personal favorites (sorry, there are a lot!)… you can view all of the pictures here.

What I love about wedding and portrait photography is that I am able to create portraits that hold immense personal meaning which will last longer than we will.
