Stacey and Chris’ Wedding: October 22, 2011

Chris works in the Shirt Factory building where my studio is located, and I was very happy that he and his fiancée contacted me (and later hired me) to shoot their wedding. Their ceremony and reception took place at Le Chambord in Hopewell Junction, NY.  I’d never photographed a wedding there before, and when I visited the venue prior to the wedding (which I always do with new venues) I was delighted to see that there were some really great spots where we would be able to take pictures. Chris and Stacey’s flowers were also done by one of my studio neighbors at the Shirt Factory – Heather Forrest-Lundy from A Night in Bloom Event Floristry. Heather does amazing work and is definitely worth checking out if you are planning a wedding in the Hudson Valley.  Also, they had one of the most creative cakes I’ve ever seen at a wedding!

Stacey and Chris’ friends and family all had a great time celebrating their perfect Fall wedding!

Oh, and you can see their engagement photos that I took over the summer here.

What I love about wedding and portrait photography is that I am able to create portraits that hold immense personal meaning which will last longer than we will.
